Hello. This is the very cheapo website for Seize Books, a publishing company based out of Millerton, New York, where we're currently very pleased to be offering our very first title, Greg Farrell's astounding new collection of comics, Going Rate.

Featuring a generous sampling of some of Farrell's more personal work (see brief sample below) and including such classic gems as 'Jumbo Jockey' (about New York's legendary B&H Restaurant) and 'Six Year Old Me Vs. Four Year Old Black Kid' (which is about what you'd probably guess from the title) Going Rate is a career-spanning retrospective not to be missed by fans of Farrell as well as those eager to learn more about this up-and-coming comic book artist/writer.

At 44 pages (paperback, staple-bound) and a cover price of $11, Going Rate is perhaps not the cheapo steal that you or I would have hoped; and so for the time being we're offering it here for the crazy low price of eight bucks -- plus a dollar for shipping -- so let's just call it $9. Got it? You send me your address and a check for $9 (make that out to M. Wood, please, and not Seize Books; and if you shoot me an email I'll send you my address) and I will send you the book. Sound like a deal? And if you don't feel like hassling with your checkbook, you can also order the book via PayPal through Greg Farrell's very own pretty colorful website, yoburbalino.blogspot.com. Or, if you don't even want to hassle with that PayPal crap, you can just go out and buy the book from any of the many fine bookstores now carrying it: the best of these that immediately comes to mind being the Strand Bookstore, at 828 Broadway in New York. Their discount isn't quite as steep as what we're offering, but if you buy the book there you may find Greg lurking about -- in which case you could probably convince him to sign your copy, should you be into that kind of thing.

Best wishes,

M.Wood
